Some Context

  • In June 2025, I supported the strategic planning and execution of AWGE’s second Paris Fashion Week runway show.

  • Working closely with the client, his creative team, and management, I helped shape how the show extended beyond the runway and functioned as a larger cultural and brand moment.

Role & Responsibilities
   • My responsibilities included building investor-facing decks, managing
timelines, and spearheading partnership and activation outreach.

Ideation & Execution
   • I contributed to the development of campaign concepts that were not
only visually compelling, but culturally and politically intentional.
   • I pitched ideas spanning artist and cultural partnerships, post-show
pop-up activations, and community-centered initiatives, with an
emphasis on how each touchpoint reinforced the show’s overarching
       narrative.

Messaging & Narrrative Direction

   • “American Sabotage” and Political Satire: The collection used fashion to critique American identity and institutional power, blending suiting, streetwear, and

charged iconography to create tension between authority and rebellion.

   • Satire and Social Commentary: Courthouse-inspired set design and exaggerated symbolism transformed the runway into a satirical critique of public scrutiny, the          justice system, and celebrity culture.

   • Ghetto Expressionism: The show elevated elements once deemed “ghetto” into luxury, using fashion to highlight how cultural expressions rooted in marginalized        communities now shape high fashion and mainstream taste.

What I Learned
   • Cultural Storytelling: This experience strengthened my ability to translate creative strategy into cultural commentary, using fashion as a platform for narrative,
      critique, and impact.
